Saudi Arabia to transport Algerian pilgrims
Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA) have been approved as a partner in the process of transporting Algerian pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj (pilgrimage) announced this today on its website.

SAA will operate 14 flights from El-Senia airport in Oran (west of Algiers) to Jeddah in addition to 5 flights from Tiaret airport (west of Algiers).

The first Hajj flight from Algeria will start on November 24, and the flights will continue up to December 12, 2007.

It is estimated that around 2 million pilgrims from around the world participate in the annual pilgrimage.
